ESTANCIA MONTE LEON: Atlantic Steelhead on the Rio Santa Cruz
Harboring the only known run of Atlantic steelhead in the world, the massive Río Santa Cruz is a nascent fishery only recently beginning to draw international attention within the steelheading community. What started as a transplant of rainbow trout from California's McCloud River near the turn of the 20th century has evolved into an incredibly unique fishery set in one of Patagonia's most wild and untouched regions.
